Chelsea FC have released a statement declaring that star striker Dider Drogba is only weeks away from returning rather than months after he was injured in the clubs Champions League clash against Romanian side CFRCluj.
The Blues statement read, "He will not be requiring surgery."
"We will keep him under observation before putting an estimate on how long he'll be out, but we're certainly looking at weeks, not months."
"Didier Drogba has had two forceful rotations in his knee and ankle. Fortunately, he has avoided any significant ligamentus rupture."
The Blues are already down in numbers with Joe Cole, Deco, Michael Essien and Ricardo Carvalho all on the sidelines.
